Update to Burglary Investigation in Warren County

On September 19, 2006 a search warrant was executed at the Deborah Bratcher & Robert Thurman residence located at 1036 Gotts-Hydro Road in Smiths Grove. Several more stolen items were located at that residence. Additional stolen property was located inside the family's motor home, which they had moved earlier that day to a location on Barren River Road. Items from at least four burglaries totaling over $40,000 were recovered. Additional arrests are pending.

Update

Further investigation into this incident led Kentucky State Police to a residence in Bowling Green where a 4th accomplice (Michael Riffey) was taken into custody without incident at 12:08. The investigation is still ongoing and further details are not being released at this time.

Further investigation revealed that some of the stolen property recovered on September 12, 2006, was taken from 2 church burglaries. One of the burglaries was from the Christ United Methodist Church including $8,000 in brass church bells, and one was from Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.

(BOWLING GREEN, KY) - On June 24, 2006 a residential burglary occurred at 188 Keeneland Court in Bowling Green, KY. where approximately $135,000 worth of property was taken. After a two-month investigation, including utilization of the Crime Stoppers Anonymous Tip Line, information was gathered leading to the discovery of the suspects (Rachel Bratcher, Dameon Thurman & Michael Bratcher) who were located at 567 Lost Circle Apartment B in Bowling Green. Stolen property recovered includes: construction equipment, musical instruments, computers, computer software, house wares, sound equipment, numerous DVD's, jewelry, & fur coats. At 19:48 hours last night the above subjects were arrested & lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail. Additional arrests are pending. Investigation continues.
