Fatal Crash on Lonoke Road in Hart County

Date of News Release: 09/13/2006

(BOWLING GREEN, KY) - Shawn Swank age 38 of Glasgow, KY was traveling southbound at a high rate of speed on Lonoke Road, approximately two miles south of Munfordville, when the Mr. Swank failed to negotiate a curve. Mr. Swank's vehicle then exited the roadway off of the northbound shoulder, and then overturned down a large earth embankment, causing the unrestrained Mr. Swank to be ejected. Both Mr. Swank and vehicle then struck a wire fence before both came to rest in an adjacent field. The Hart County Coroner pronounced Mr. Shawn Swank dead at 1450 hours.
