Fatal Crash Data From August 25th

Date of News Release: 09/12/2006

(BOWLING GREEN, KY) - On 08-25-2006 Jason P. Veach was traveling West on Carden Road in Barren County. Mr. Veach's vehilce ran off the roadway and struck an earth embankment, causing the child (Michael C. Veach) in the bed of the truck to be ejected onto the roadway. The child was transported to Kosair's Children's Hospital in Louisville by a STAT CARE helicopter, where he died of his injuries sustained in the collision.

***Circumstances surrounding the collision are still under investigation.
