Attempted Armed Robbery Investigation in Allen County

Date of News Release: 08/08/2006

(BOWLING GREEN, KY) - Two unknown suspects approached the victim's door carrying shotguns & wearing masks at approximately 03:15 hrs. The victim, who was also armed, opened the door & confronted the suspects. The victim was able to take the shotgun from one of the suspects. He then pointed his gun at the suspects who ran, got into their vehicle, & left the area. Subjects, who are described as two white males in their early twenties, were last seen traveling northbound on Old Bowling Green Road. The suspects were occupying a dark, possibly blue or black, small pick up truck, similar to an S-10. Any one with any information concerning this incident is asked to contact The Kentucky State Police. Investigation is ongoing.
