Injury Crash on I-65 in Simpson County, KY

(BOWLING GREEN, KY) - Stacy Jeffrey was traveling northbound in the right lane of I-65. Stacy Jeffrey lost control of the vehicle which was pulling a travel trailer. The travel trailer was occupied by Molly Stanley, Dean Boswell, and Howard Stanley. The vehicle traveled off the right shoulder of the roadway striking a guardrail. The Dodge Pickup as well as the trailer overturned on the roadway. Howard Stanley was ejected from the travel trailer. The north bound lanes of I65 were closed for approximately 3.5 hours. Howard Stanley was air lifted to Vanderbilt Hospital for critical injuries and all other parties were taken to the Medical Center at Bowling Green via EMS. Alcohol and drugs are suspected and the driver was cited to court due to injuries. It was determined Dean Boswell, who was slightly injured, was a fugitive from OH. He was arrested after being released form the Medical Center at Bowling Green. No parties were wearing their seatbelts.
