Fatal Crash on KY 358 in Ballard County

Date of News Release: 10/19/2006

(Mayfield, KY) - Jerry L. Spears was traveling west on KY. 358 when he ran off the right side of the road. He overcorrected back left, causing the vehicle to rotate counterclockwise. The vehicle ran off the left side of the road and overturned, coming to rest upside down. Mr. Spears was not wearing his seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. The Ballard County Sheriff's Department, Rescue Squad and Coroner's Office assisted state police at the scene.
