A Draffenville Man Arrested on Several Drug Charges

(Draffenville, KY) - While searching for Marijuana in the Marshall County Area, the Kentucky State Police Aircraft located several plants at a residence near Draffenville KY. When ground units made contact with the homeowner, they were given consent to search the residence. Upon searching the residence 19 Marijuana plants, processed Marijuana and a Clandestine Lab was located. Subsequently David Burkeen, 33 years old of Draffenville, was taken into custody and charged with Cultivation of Marijuana over five plants, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Complicity to Manufacture METHAMPHETAMINE, and Possession of Controlled Substance 1st (METH). Mr. Burkeen was lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center. The investigation continues with Trooper Trent Weaver. The Kentucky State Police Aircraft Division assisted Tpr Weaver.
