News Release

Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree in McCracken County

Date of News Release: 06/19/2006

(McCracken County, KY.) On 06-19-06 Troopers T.J. Williams and TFC Mikey Turnbow were working a criminal patrol detail on I-24. Trooper Williams stopped a vehicle traveling West on I-24 for speeding 80 in a 65 MPH speed zone. Trooper Williams cited the driver, Glen A. Harris 18 of Chesterfield, MO., for speeding. Troopers then questioned Harris, asking if there were any illegal drugs in the vehicle. Harris advised he did have drugs in the vehicle and showed the troopers where they were. He was arrested and charged with Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree-Cocaine (2 grams), Possession of Controlled Substance 2nd Degree-Hashish (1 ounce), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Harris was lodged in the McCracken County Detention Center. The investigation is continuing by Trooper Williams.
