Drug Arrest and Seizure in Graves County, KY

Date of News Release: 03/17/2006

(Graves County, KY) - Trooper Archer stopped Jason M. Andrews of Symsonia, KY for driving into the oncoming lane of traffic. After speaking with the Mr. Andrews, Trooper Archer asked for consent to search the vehicle. Mr. Andrews gave consent to search and during the course of the search a baggie of suspected marijuana was located under the passenger side seat. The baggie contained 8 individually packaged for sale baggies of suspected marijuana, weighing greater than 8 ounces. Mr. Andrews was arrested for trafficking in marijuana greater than 8 ounces and was lodged in the Graves County jail.
