Injury Crash After Suspect Fled Scene in McCracken County, KY

Date of News Release: 03/12/2006

(McCracken County, KY) - Paul D. Mosler was stopped at a traffic safety checkpoint at US 60 and Harneds BBQ by Trooper Donald Crawford, U/1050 for suspected DUI. After pulling off the side of the road, Mosler then fled the scene in his vehicle Eastbound on US 62. Mosler then turned Southbound onto KY 131, and lost control of his vehicle at the KY 131 and Anita Drive intersection. Mosler was located moments after the accident by Trooper John Sims, U/913. Mosler was transported to Lourdes Hospital and due to his injuries, he was later transported to Vanderbilt Hospital. The Kentucky State Police was assisted by the McCracken County Sheriff's Office, Reidland/Farley Fire Department, and Mercy Regional EMS.
