Fatal Crash on KY 286 in Ballard County, KY

Date of News Release: 03/02/2006

(Ballard County, KY) - James Gordon Meeks was travelling west bound on KY 286, 9 miles east of Wickliffe when his vehicle crossed the east bound lane and left the southside of the roadway striking a tree.

Mr. Meeks was pronounced dead on the scene by the Ballard County Cororoner.

Trooper Clifton was assisted on the scene by Sgt Kenny Stewart, Trooper Clint Davis, Ballard County Coroner, Ballard County EMS, and the Wickliffe Volunteer Fire Department.
