Injury Crash on HWY 402 and HWY 641 in Marshall County, KY

Date of News Release: 01/28/2006

(Marshall County, KY) - Scott Fulton was eastbound on HWY 402 crossing HWY 641 in his vehicle when he was struck by Alecia Byassee's vehicle which was traveling northbound on HWY 641. After the collision, Mr. Fulton's vehicle overturned several times coming to rest on its wheels in a ditch. Ms. Byassee's vehicle caught fire while stopped on the roadway.

Ms. Byassee was assisted in getting out of the car by a passing motorist. Ms. Byassee was taken to Murray Hospital. Mr. Fulton was taken to Benton Hospital.

KSP was assisted by the Hardin/South Marshall Fire Department and the Marshall County Sheriff's Office. Investigation is still continuing.
