News Release

Burglary 3rd Investigation at the Old Hickory Clay Company

Date of News Release: 01/18/2006

(Graves County, KY) - On 01-18-06 Kentucky State Police received a complaint of a burglary at the Old Hickory Clay Company in Hickory.

Troopers Haley and Thomas arrived and spoke with company officials who stated their warehouse had been entered twice over the weekend. Nothing was taken in the burglary but acts of vandalism did occur.

On 01-18-06 troopers charged 3 juveniles with the break-ins. Each juvenile will be charged with 2 counts of Burglary 3rd Degree and 1 count of Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree.

The same juveniles have been charged with the break-ins and vandalism of the Southeastern Book Company over the weekend. The juveniles will be charged on a juvenile petition and not taken into custody.

The investigation is continuing by Trooper Brad Haley.
