Injury Crash on KY 80 in Russell County

Date of News Release: 10/19/2006

(Columbia, KY) - Alycia Smith age 40 of Russell Springs attempted to turn her vehicle into a private drive on KY 80. Bradley Bigelow age 41 of Somerset (Unit 1) was unable to stop due to wet roadway, attempted to pass Ms. Smith and struck Ms. Smith's vehicle in the left side.

Mr. Bigelow was not wearing his seatbelt; he was treated and released from the Russell County Hospital. Mr. Smith was wearing her seatbelt and had no injury. Ms. Smith's passengers (Wilson Smith & Cody Womack) were also wearing their seatbelts and had no injuries.
