Suspect Arrested in the Shearer Drug Store Attempted Robbery

(Columbia, KY) - Kentucky State Police Detective Kevin Hunt filed attempted robbery charges against an Albany man after Clinton County Sheriff's Deputies and Albany Police Officers located 32 year-old Aaron P. Martin.

On Thursday, September 14, 2006, numerous police officers responded to Shearer Drug Store in Albany after a note, threatening violence if certain demands were not met, was found at the pharmacy. Witnesses then reported seeing a male subject flee the scene.

As a result of the investigation, Aaron Martin was identified as a suspect.

Martin was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.
