Arrest Made in the Ida Wood's Murder

Date of News Release: 07/31/2006

(Columbia, KY) - Detective Donnie Moses arrested Russell Lee Wood Jr., today at the University of Louisville Hospital at 12:25 p.m. on a Murder Warrant.

Mr. Wood was lodged in the Marion County Jail.

This is reference to the June 29th, 2006 murder of Ida Wood, mother of the accused, which occurred at 7765 St. Joe Road in Marion County.
