Death Investigation in Metcalfe County, KY

Date of News Release: 05/19/2006

Columbia, KY - On May 19, 2006, Metcalfe County Sheriff Department was called to respond to a location 3 miles north of Edmonton on KY 1243. A male subject was lying beside the road in a ditch. EMS was called and transported him to TJ Sampson Hospital, where he was pronounced dead by the Barren County Coroner.

The cause of death is unknown at this time. An autopsy will be performed next date (5/20/06).

This case is being investigated by Det. Kevin Hunt, Det. Donnie Moses, and the Metcalfe County Sheriff Department.
