Injury Crash on KY Highway 80 Near Russell Springs, KY

(Columbia, KY) - Icy road conditions may have contributed to a two-vehicle crash that occurred Monday morning three miles west of Russell Springs on Highway 80, injuring three people.
Brittany Bailey, 18, of Russell Springs was operating a 2000 Chevy Cavalier westbound on Ky. Highway 80 when she lost control of the vehicle, crossed the center line and struck an oncoming vehicle driven by Larry Phillips, 40, of Russell Springs.
Both drivers and a passenger in the Bailey vehicle, Bill Bailey , 61, also of Russell Springs, were transported to the Russell County Hospital for treatment.
