Fatal Crash on US 23 in Lowmansville, KY

Date of News Release: 12/12/2006

The Kentucky State Police in Ashland are investigating a single vehicle fatal collision that occurred on 12-11-06 around 6:30 pm on US 23 in Lowmansville, Ky. Alfreda Bradley was traveling southbound on US 23 near Lowmansville when the she lost control of her vehicle and veered off the roadway. Alfreda Bradley's vehicle struck a guardrail causing the vehicle to overturn before coming to final rest in an upright position over an embankment. Ms. Bradley was not wearing her seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the collision. Ms. Bradley was located on 12-12-06 by her boyfriend, after she failed to come home on the evening of the eleventh. The Lawrence County Coroner pronounced Ms. Bradley deceased at the scene.
