Anderson County Assault Investigation

(Frankfort, KY) - On Thursday, September 7, 2006, at approx. 7:11 AM the Kentucky State Police received a complaint of an assault involving a juvenile with very serious injuries in Anderson County.

State Police investigation has led to criminal charges against Larry Ray Penwell age 25 of Lawrenceburg. On September 14, 2006, at 6:30 PM, KSP charged Larry Ray Penwell with Assault 1st, Class B Felony and Intimidating a Participant in Legal Process, Class D Felony. He was also been charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Larry Ray Penwell remains lodged in the Franklin County Jail under a $50,000.00 cash bond. Kentucky State Police investigation continuing.
