Multiple Vehicle Traffic Crashes I-75 Rockcastle County

(LONDON, KY) - On Thursday, November 09, 2006, at 0430 AM the Kentucky State Police responded to multiple-vehicle traffic crashes with and without injury on I-75, around Mount Vernon, in Rockcastle County. Troopers from the Kentucky State Police, Officers from the Kentucky Vehicle Enforcement, the Mount Vernon Police Department and the Rockcastle County Sheriff's Office are currently on the scene. Preliminary indications are the dense fog in the area is a factor in these crashes. Traffic is being rerouted to US 25 between exits 49 and 62. More information will be forthcoming when available. Please use caution if travelling in this area.
