News Release

Death Investigation In Whitley County

Date of News Release: 04/26/2006

(LONDON, KY) - On Wednesday April 26, 2006 Kentucky State Police at London received a call of shots that had been fired on the Youngs Cemetery Road approximately seven (7) miles north of Williamsburg in Whitley County.

Upon troopers arrival they discovered two victims' one female and, one male. The two victims had received gunshot wounds.

Autopsies are scheduled for next date (4/27/2006) in Frankfort and, more details will be made available at that time.

Kentucky State Police Detective Colan Harrell is in charge of the investigation and is being assisted by members of the Whitley County Major Crimes Task Force.
