Arrest Made on the Murder in Elkhorn City, KY Case

(Pikeville, KY) - On Tuesday, April 12, 2005 at 11:09 am EDT, Post 9-Pikeville Detectives arrested Kevin Rowe, age 19, of Harless Creek outside of the Regina community of Pike County. This arrest was made after an exhaustive 3 day investigation surrounding the shooting of Robin and Tammy Hylton on April 9, 2005.

Kevin Rowe was charged with Murder and Attempted Murder. He was then lodged in the Pike County Detention Center. "Due to the diligence and commitment of Kentucky State Police Detectives and the cooperation of the Pike County citizens we were able to bring this investigation to a quick conclusion" stated Captain Jim Booth, Post 9-Pikeville Commander.

The incident remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police Detective Joey Howard.
