News Release

Kentucky State Police Post-5 And The Oldham County Police Department Arrest Henry County Man For Five Business Break-ins In Oldham And Henry Countries

Date of News Release: 12/16/2005

(Campbellsburg, Kentucky) - On 12-16-2005 the Oldham County Police Department arrested Mark Williams, age 30, of Eminence Kentucky for two(2) counts of Burglary in the 3rd degree. Mr. Williams was found by Oldham County Officers inside a local dairy mart in Centerfield Kentucky. The Officers were responding to an alarm on the business that had been activated when Mr. Williams forced entry into the business.

Subsequence investigation by the Kentucky State Police Post-5, Eminence Police Department, and the Oldham County Police Department revealed Mr. Williams was responsible for five (5) business break-ins in Oldham and Henry Countries. Mr. Williams target the ATM machines in each business stealing thousands of dollars over the past two months.

Mr. Williams has been charged with three counts of Burglary in the Third Degree, one count of Possession of Burglary Tools, Criminal Mischief in the first degree, and a bench warrant from Jefferson County was executed for a speeding violation.

Additional information revealed Cheryl Williams; wife of Mark Williams, assisted her husband in three of the burglaries. She was arrested by Kentucky State Police and charged with one count of Burglary in the 3rd degree. Mark Williams was also charged by the Kentucky State Police Post-5 with 2 counts of Burglary 3rd.

Additional charges are pending and the case remains under investigation.
