News Release

Drug Arrests Made in Grayson County, KY

Date of News Release: 09/03/2005

(Elizabethtown, KY) - Trooper Charlie Miller and Trooper Seth Payne responded to a residence on Nina Lane in Grayson County to attempt service of warrants on Patrick Kelly and to investigate a meth lab complaint at same location.

Upon arrival Troopers detected a strong odor of ether and heard noises that they believed to be the suspects destroying evidence. Troopers entered the residence to attempt to locate and arrest Kelly, stop the destruction of evidence, and to check the welfare of the residents.

Laura D. Sadler, Lena J. Fox, Charles W. Bell, Timothy Riggs, and Patrick Kelly were located inside the home, as well as items used to manufacture meth. A search warrant was obtained and all parties were arrested and lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center.
