Traffic Safety Checkpoints throughout the entire Post 3

(BOWLING GREEN, KY) - The Kentucky State Police will be conducting Traffic Safety Checkpoints throughout the entire Post 3 District for this Thanksgiving Holiday. Troopers will be checking for traffic and equipment violations, as well as drivers under the influence of intoxicants. Since this is the heaviest traveled holiday season, special attention will focused in on incidents of "road rage," as well as vehicles following too close and speeding motorists. The Kentucky State Police would like to remind all motorists traveling this holiday season to slow down, buckle up and arrive alive.
