KSP Investigating Quinten J. Kirk Death

(BOWLING GREEN, Ky.) - The Kentucky State Police investigation into the death of Quinten J. Kirk (39) of Bowling Green, is continuing.

A Preliminary autopsy report from the State Medical Examiner's Office has been completed, and the report indicates that the manner of death is inconclusive. The State Medical Examiner's final report is pending at this time awaiting the results of a toxicology report.

Kirk had been arrested after an alleged theft incident on Campbell Lane. While in custody of Bowling Green Police, Kirk became distressed and medical assistance was dispatched to the scene. Bowling Green Police Officers administered C.P.R. until the arrival of paramedics to the scene. Kirk was transported to the Medical Center at Bowling Green for treatment, and was later pronounced dead at approximately 1430 hours by the Warren County Coroner's Office.

The Bowling Green Police Department requested that the Kentucky State Police conduct an investigation, which continues at this time.
