Stolen Vehicle Recovered and Two Arrested in Kuttawa, KY

Date of News Release: 08/28/2005

(Kuttawa, KY) - At 950 hrs, 8-28-2005, KSP Post 1 in Mayfield received a report that a vehicle had been stolen from 111 George Thomas Road. Sgt. Brent White responded and initiated the investigation. During the course of the investigation, it was determined that a Ms. Nancy Deboe had been at the residence last night, and both she and the vehicle were found to be missing in the morning. After the initial report was taken, Sgt. White began driving through the area trying to locate the vehicle. Sgt. White observed the stolen vehicle on US 62, and initiated a traffic stop at Days Inn Drive in Kuttawa. While on the traffic stop, Ms. Deboe was taken into custody and charged with Theft Over 300.00, DUI 3rd, DUI Suspended 1st and Open Container. Mr. Johnny Wyatt was also taken into custody and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st. KVE and the Eddyville Police Department assisted Sgt. White.
