The Kentucky State Police Post One Activity Report for the month of July is as follows:

| DUI Arrest | 68 |
Post One Mayfield covers the 11 counties of Ballard, Calloway, Carlisle, Fulton, Graves, Hickman, Livingston, Lyon, Marshall, McCracken and Trigg. As of July 31, 2005 there have been 32 people killed in fatal collisions in the Post One area. Of those who died, 15 were not wearing their seat belt and 7 involved alcohol. During the same time period in 2004, there were 30 people killed in the Post One area. Statewide in 2005, there have been 515 people killed compared to 525 in 2004. During the July 4th holiday period, troopers cited 304 drivers for speeding, 52 for not wearing their seat belt and 3 child restraint violations. Trooper's also arrested 8 drivers for DUI. There were no fatal collision's recorded during the holiday period.
