A Benton Woman Arrested

(PADUCAH, KY.) On 3-2-05 Kentucky State Police Detective Steve Bryan charged a Benton woman for theft from a Paducah business. Detective Bryan charged Deborah Croley, 47 of Benton, with one count of Theft by Failure to Make Required Disposition of Property and 7 counts of Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card. This case was presented to the McCracken County Grand Jury on February 25, 2005. Croley, a bookkeeper for Swinford Trucking in Paducah, is accused of taking $445,000 of the businesses money and using a business credit card to make online purchases. Croley was lodged in the McCracken County Detention Center.
The investigation is continuing by Detective Bryan.
