Theft Investigation at the Continental General Tire Plant
Date of News Release: 01/25/2005
(Mayfield, Ky) - On 01-19-05 Detectives with the Kentucky State Police received a complaint of missing computer processors from the Continental General Tire Plant in Mayfield. According to company officials 25 Allen Bradley Processors, worth $139,000, were taken between 11-15-04 and 12-15-04. It is unknown at this time if the disappearance is sabotage of the equipment or theft.
Anyone with information can contact state police at 1-800-222-5555 (in the state of Kentucky only, does not work out of state) or 856-3721. The investigation is continuing by Detective George Bell.
