KSP Investigates a Stabbing

Date of News Release: 01/23/2005

(Mayfield, Ky) - On 1-23-05 around 0014 hrs, the Kentucky State Police and Graves County Sheriff's Officers were dispatched to a stabbing complaint at 9679 street, route 80 west.

When officers arrived they found one victim with a stab wound to the neck. Victim was transported to Jackson Purchase Medical Center with serious but non -life threatening injuries.

Officers were able to locate the suspect a short distance from the crime scene. Suspect was subsequently charged with assault 1st and lodged in the Graves County Jail.

Investigation continues by the Kentucky State Police.
