Adair County Man Arrested on Drug Charges

(Columbia, KY) - Following a lengthy investigation into drug trafficking in Adair County, Kentucky State Police Detective Scott Hammond arrested a local man on drug charges.

Twenty-seven year old, Randall D. Denton was arrested on the Christine Road in Adair County at 3:20 P.M. on Monday, September 12, 2005. Denton was charged with two counts of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree. Prior convictions enhanced both charges to 2nd offense status.

Denton was lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail.
