Two Arrests in Russell County On Drug Charges

(Columbia, KY) - Two arrests have been made as the result of a search warrant that was executed on August 27 2005.

Both subjects were arrested at 10:35 PM on September 1st 2005, 2 miles east of Russell Springs on Cleveland Road. Mark Burton age 22 of Russell Springs and Stacy Carta age 27 also of Russell Springs. Both were charged with trafficking in marijuana, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of controlled substance 3rd and Carta was also charged with trafficking in controlled substance 3rd. Both were lodged in the Russell County jail. Troopers were assisted by the Russell County Sheriff's Office.
