Adair County Man Arrested For Indoor Marijuana Growing Operation

(Columbia, KY) - Kentucky State Troopers and an Adair County Deputy arrested an Adair County man after executing a search warrant at his residence at 5034 Edmonton Road, in the Gradyville area of Adair County.
Trooper Greg Brown obtained a search warrant after obtaining information that 32-year-old, David Randall Curry was tending an indoor marijuana growing operation in an abandoned house, near his residence. Mr. Curry was arrested at the scene and charged with possession of marijuana with a firearms enhancement and cultivating marijuana less than 5 plants. Mr. Curry was also charged with tampering with physical evidence, after he attempted to burn evidence of his crime near the residence.
The officers seized a quantity of marijuana, two firearms, numerous grow-lights, and other evidence of the marijuana cultivation process.
Mr. Curry was lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail, while his girlfriend, 36-year-old Willenia Fields was cited to appear in court for marijuana possession.
The investigation is continuing by Trooper Greg Brown of the Columbia State Police Post.
