Rape/Sodomy Investigation and Arrest in Carter County, KY

(Ashland, KY) - The Kentucky State Police in Ashland are investigating complaints of Rape and Sodomy, which occurred in the area of Carter County KY.
Tpr. Mark Padgett and Tpr. Matt Girdwood of the KSP Post 14 Ashland arrested Eric B. Porter (29 yoa) of Grayson, KY charging him with two (2) counts of Rape 1st degree and two (2) counts of Sodomy 1st degree. The charges were the result of an ongoing investigation being conducted by Tpr. Padgett. Mr. Porter was lodged in the Carter County Detention Center. He was later released on bond.
The investigation continues with further charges pending.
