Juvenile Taken Into Custody on Pickup Order in Laurel County

(LONDON, KY) - On Thursday, February 10, 2005 Kentucky State Police in London received a complaint of a juvenile out of control on Vanzant Road located approximately six miles south of London in Laurel County.

Troopers Fred Pennington and Michelle Lunsford was dispatched to the scene and, prior to their arrival they discovered the juvenile had an active pickup order issued on him from Knox County.

Troopers arrived at the scene at approximately 8:48 PM and, the juvenile was taken into custody and, prior to being placed in the cruiser the juvenile fled on foot. The juvenile was apprehended and, charged with fleeing/evading, resisting arrest and, criminal mischief 3rd.

The juvenile was lodged in Lexington KY by court order.
