Illegal Sale Of Alcohol in Whitley County

(LONDON, KY) - On Friday February 4, 2005 Kentucky State Police assisted in serving a search warrant at a residence on McNeil Corncreek Road approximately 5 miles south of Corbin.

Arrested and, charged with illegal sales of alcohol in a dry territory was Steven Eric Curnutt age 23 from Corbin. Alcohol confiscated at the scene was 360 12oz. Cans of beer and 31 bottles of assorted liquors. Another 1,440 cans of beer were discovered but no one has been charged at this time although Detective Harrell believes an arrest is forthcoming. Assisting at the scene was operation UNITE, HIDTA Task Force, DEA task force and, Kentucky State Police Drug Enforcement Section.
