Shooting Investigation in Pendleton County

Kentucky State Police Post 6 Detectives are currently investigating a shooting that occured in Pendleton County. The incident took place in the early am hours of 12-24-2004 on Maple Ridge Road.

The Kentucky State Police were contacted by the Cynthiana Police Department at approximately 6:45 am after the victim arrived at the Harrison Memorial Hospital in Cynthiana, KY. The victim had suffered multiple gunshot and stab wounds.

The victim was airlifted to the University of Kentucky Hospital where he is currently undergoing surgery. The victim has been identified as Mark A Greig , 21 of Falmouth KY.

The incident remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police Post 6 Detectives.
