Kentucky State Police make arrest on fatal collision occurring in Milton, KY

Date of News Release: 10/30/2004

(Milton , KY) The Kentucky State Police, Campbellsburg Post, responded to a reported hit-and-run collision involving a pedestrian on School Hollow Road in Milton just after midnight. The pedestrian, Richard Gray (25 Year of Age) of Milton, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Trimble County Coroner's office. Through investigation the involved vehicle and operator have been located.

The operator of the vehicle, Bobby Westrick (24 Year of Age), has been arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence 1^st, Leaving the Scene of an Accident and Manslaughter 2^nd degree.

Trooper Nelson Dales, Accident Reconstructionist, is the lead investigator along with other post personnel and the Trimble County Coroner&##9;s Office. Investigation continues.
