Kentucky State Police Locate 2 Active Methamphetamine Laboratories In Trimble County After Receiving An Anonymous Tip
Date of News Release: 10/4/2004
(MILTON, KY) - Troopers searched the residence and out buildings at 575 Sprague Lane in Milton, Kentucky shortly after 11:00 PM on October 03, 2004. The troopers located a Meth Lab in the home as well as one in an outbuilding. According to the officers both labs were operational. The 3 occupants of the residence were arrested. Warren E. Brooks age 22 from Deputy, Indiana and Gary J. Klare Jr. age 29 from Madison, Indiana were lodged in the Carroll County Jail on the following charges:
All the Charges are enhanced because of the presence of a gun.
Regina C. Bowyer age 27 was arrested and charged with all of the above offences as well as Escape after she was able to escape from custody. Regina Bowyer is described as a white / female, 5'5" tall, 160 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, white t-shirt and a blue flannel shirt. She may be headed toward North Vernon, Indiana. Should you see Ms. Bowyer please contact your nearest law enforcement official.
The Kentucky State Police Clandestine Laboratory Decontamination Team was called collect evidence and dismantle the lab.
According to officers this residence has been suspect in the manufacture of Methamphetamine in the past and has been under investigation by the Kentucky State Police as well as the Trimble County Sheriffs Department. Officers credit the success of this investigation to the anonymous tips both departments received and the information shared between the 2 departments.
The case is being investigated by Kentucky State Trooper Jim Mitchell.
