Suspect In Fort Wright, Kentucky Bank Robbery Is Arrested In Gallatin County

(WARSAW, KY) - On Wednesday, August 11, 2004 at 1:00pm troopers from the Campbellsburg Post of the Kentucky State Police along with the Gallatin County Sheriffs Department apprehended Emil Schmidt Jr. age 41 at an abandoned home on Knox Lillard Road. Mr. Schmidt was wanted for the armed robbery of a bank in Fort Wright, Kentucky. He is also suspect in several other northern Kentucky area bank robberies.
The Fort Wright Police Department is handling the robbery investigation.
