Car Found Submerged in River Near Coopertown Road

(BOWLING GREEN, KY) - At 20:22 hours KSP received a call to assist Logan County Sheriff's Department with a vehicle in the river. Agency was on the scene of a submerged vehicle, unknown occupants. Vehicle was traveling northbound on Coopertown Road. Vehicle exited off the right edge of the roadway, driver over corrected and the vehicle left the left edge of the roadway striking a small tree before plunging into the river. No occupants were located on scene and the investigation continues.
