Arrest Made in the Bonnie Rothwell Murder & the Robbery of Abner's Gift Shop

Date of News Release: 11/28/2004

(Bowling Green, KY) - On 11-28-2004 Detectives from the Kentucky State Police were canvassing an area in Horse Cave, in the vicinity were evidence from the Abners Gift Shop Robbery was located.

Detectives were questioning people in the area when they came across Nathan A. Wright from Louisville (formerly of Horse Cave). Through further investigation, evidence was obtained, implicating Nathan A. Wright, along with a Horse Cave Juvenile, and a Cave City Juvenile as being the perpetrators involved in the Murder of Bonnie Rothwell and the Robbery of Abner's Gift Shop, in Cave City on November 14, 2004.

Mr. Wright was arrested by Kentucky State Police Detectives Brad Bowles, and Scott Skaggs, and lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.

The two juveniles were taken into custody and lodged in the Warren County Juvenile Justice Facility.
