Post 3 Monthly Activity Report for September

(BOWLING GREEN, Ky.) --The Commander of the Kentucky State Police Post, Captain Jeff Mayberry is reporting the following activity for the month of September 2004.

Troopers at the Bowling Green Post issued 1,931 various citations, 835 of those citations were for Speeding, 119 for No Seatbealts, and 12 for No Child Restraint. Troopers arrested 36 people for Driving Under the Influence.

Troopers investigated 85 Motor Vehicle Accidents, 5 of which were fatalities, inspected 3,045 vehicles, issued 514 Courtesy Notices, and assisted 244 motorists.

The Post Three Troopers and Detectives, investigated 1,291 complaints, opened 142 Criminal Cases, 2 Non-Criminal cases, and made 309 Criminal Arrests.
