Arrest of Fugitive and Murder Suspect in Boonieville, KY

Date of News Release: 9/23/2004

(Bowling Green, KY) - Post 3 received a call from special crimes unit in Amarillo, Texas in reference to a subject that was wanted from their agency. The suspect was wanted in connection to a murder in November 2003. Based on information from Texas authorities, Post 3 units responded to 217 Campground Road in Bonnieville. Post 3 units surrounded the residence and called the suspect out. The suspect was taken into custody without incident. The suspect Carl Dean Sewell, Date of Birth 10/26/1964 was lodged in the Hart County Jail on a fugitive from justice warrant. Another subject at the scene, Bennie Webb, Date of Birth 11/16/1968 was arrested and lodged for obstructing governmental operations.
