Thomas C. Lane has Escaped from the Hickman County Detention Center

Date of News Release: 8/30/2004

(Hickory, Ky.) - At 2329 hours the Kentucky State Police was contacted by the Clinton Police Department of a possible escape from the Hickman County Detention Center. After a head count of the inmates and a search of the facility, it was determined that Thomas C. Lane had fled the detention center through a back door that had been jimmied open. Thomas C. Lane is a white male, 29 years old, 5'11 and 180 pounds, blue eyes and bald. Mr. Lane was being held in the Hickman County Detention Center charged with 11 counts of receiving stolen property over $300.00, five counts of burglary 3rd, and two counts of theft by unlawful taking over $300. At this time, there is no clothing description available and unknown direction of travel. Clinton Police Department and the Bardwell Police Department assisted Trooper Michael Cook.
