3 Arrested for Drugs and Firearms in Eddyville

Date of News Release: 8/12/2004

(Eddyville, KY) Kentucky State Police, the Lyon County Sheriff's Office, along with Probation and Parole conducted a search at 1012 Friendship Road in Eddyville. During the search, approximately 30 grams of methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and firearms were discovered in the residence and on individuals at the residence. Those arrested were Earl B. Molloy, 43, of Eddyville, Allen R. Lee, 53, of Fordsville, and Cora M. Holecek, 48, of Evansville, IN. Molloy was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance 1^st degree firearm enhanced, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Lee was charged with possession of a controlled substance 1^st degree firearm enhanced, possession of drug paraphernalia, and tampering with physical evidence. Holecek was charged with possession of a controlled substance 1^st degree and possession of drug paraphernalia. All subjects were lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
