KSP is Asking for Assistance in Arson Investigation

(Ashland, KY) - Kentucky State Police in Ashland is investigating an arson of a residence at 1061 Butler Circle in Olive Hill, Ky. that occurred on 10-22-04.

A fire occurred at the rental property owned by Jeff and Tammy Oney sometime between 10 am and 1200 noon on 10/22/04 and the state police are asking for the public's assistance in the investigation. Authorities have determined an accelerant was used to start the fire of the single story house which started in the kitchen area.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Kentucky State Police at 606-928-6421 or 1-800-222-5555 (in the state of Kentucky only, does not work out of state). Callers can remain anonymous. Callers are also elgible for a 1000 dollar reward through the Target Arson Task Force if they provide information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect involved in the fire. Callers can call 1-800-27-ARSON to provide information.
