New KSP Arson Investigator
(Ashland, Ky.) - Kentucky State Police in Ashland recently appointed a new Arson Investigator at KSP Post 14. Carter county resident Rodney Carroll of Olive Hill, Ky was hired to perform the duties of Arson Investigator in the four county region of Boyd, Carter, Lawrence, and Greenup. Carroll attended West Carter High School and Eastern Kentucky University where he received training in Police Administration. Before joining the KSP, Carroll served as Public Safety Director for Carter County for seven years, then as a Kentucky Park Ranger for five years at Carter Caves State Park. Carroll and his wife Sherry reside in Olive Hill, Ky.
